How do I get the orange out of my blonde hair? Pin-up Girl style series… BombShell – P3
I get asked a lot how I get my hair to stay so blonde and keep the brassiness away. Blonde hair is a little more work, however, in my book totally worth it! I learned this secret from my fabulous BFF and hairdresser. This also works with highlights!
Maybe you just walked out of the salon and your still saying, eewwww. Or after a few showers it creeps up on you! Your thinking if you color it AGAIN you may have to call the fire department to put out the fire or worse have to cut it all off! STOP! Try this first.
Purple Shampoo, it is less than $10! I use Shiny Silver Ultra by One ‘n Only because it smells better and is extremely affordable. This is a do-it-yourself (DIY) fix it. It will take away all those red, blue and yellow molecules in your hair… translation- the reason your hair looks so jacked up. Brilliant, right (no really, it will look brilliant)!
For extra-brassy hair put shampoo into dry hair before showering for about 5 minutes and then rinse and follow with a good conditioner. I recommend It’s A 10 Miracle Hair Mask for after your color (amazing stuff!). For everyday use I highly recommend Redken Color Extend Shampoo & Conditioner this product is great if you have multiple colors in your hair.
I promise that if you follow this advice you can turn your hot mess hair into a smokin’ hot blonde do.
