Still on my quest for both world domination and a smaller ass, I am typing this post with a plate of raw veggies and legumes in front of me. It is my dinner, and I just got home from the gym. I’m pretty sure I’ll be fighting the urge to get up and grab a carb or two before my head hits the pillow, but I’ll growl my way through it because it is way too late in the evening. I’m thinking it is probably a good thing the house is quiet and no one is around to hear my crankiness, but damn, I’m hungry!
I know all too well that attaining fitness goals is the result of hard work and lifestyle changes. I also know that the word “diet” is literally DIE with a lil ol’ “t” at the end of it and my melodramatic self has thrown my hand against my forehead in my best “woe is me” fashion. Listen up fatty (I say to myself) suck it up and deal, how bad do you want it girl?
The answer to that is, I want it really bad! So, I will continue to drag you along with me on this journey to a new me (or actually back to the old me). I may get cranky, I may whine about being hungry or sore, but I am going to get there. Hopefully my journey will serve to inspire someone thinking about their own. Trust me when I tell you, if I can do it, anyone can do it.
