I am always actively searching for a new fabulous cocktail recipe to share with you gals, especially in this summer heat! I came across another delicious twist on a crowd pleasing, adult beverage standard, the margarita. Since we aim to please, here is the recipe for a Watermelon Margarita, enjoy (we sure did)!
Watermelon Margarita

Delicious twist on a standard margarita with fresh watermelon and agave nectar. YUM!
Ingredients
- 1½ oz of Don Julio Blanco Tequila (or any other blanco tequila)
- ½ oz of lime juice
- ¼ oz of agave nectar
- 1 slice of watermelon
Instructions
- Muddle watermelon and agave nectar, add rest of ingredients, and shake well.
- Double strain into a frozen martini glass.
- Garnish with a watermelon slice.
